According to the latest publication from the Ministry of Culture, the Machu Picchu ticket booking system will be unavailable from August 2 at 8:00 PM until August 3 at 8:00 PM for maintenance. During this 24-hour period, Machu Picchu system will be closed as the Ministry of Culture transfers all information to the new booking system.
Joinnus will no longer sell tickets, and the Ministry of Culture will be responsible for selling Machu Picchu tickets starting August 5, 2024. This new system aims to restore trust among tour operators, travel agencies, and travelers.

The State Platform for the Management of Visits to Cultural Centers of the Ministry of Culture will be operational! 💻
Therefore, for 24 hours, starting from August 2 at 8:00 p.m., technical maintenance has been scheduled for the current platform for the virtual sale of tickets to Machu Picchu ⛰️. This upgrade will enhance the cultural experience for everyone.
Please note the following:
- Tickets purchased in advance for August 2 and 3, as well as for other dates, remain valid.
- Admission to Machu Picchu is guaranteed during this period.
- The sale of 1,000 tickets per day in person at the Aguas Calientes Cultural Center is guaranteed.
