Machu Picchu Tickets Sold Out For May & June: Plan Your Trip Now

Ministerio de Cultura

According to the Joinnus virtual platform through TuBoleto.Cultura.pe, there are no available Machu Picchu tickets for May and June. For the past two months, Machu Picchu tickets have been sold out. Therefore, we recommend booking your Machu Picchu tickets in advance on www.tuboleto.cultura.pe. In July and August, there are only a few Machu Picchu tickets left.

Additionally, the Inca Trail 4-day hike is sold out until August. If you want to hike the classic Inca Trail, we recommend booking in advance.

What can you do in this situation?

All travelers who do not have entrance tickets to Machu Picchu can go to the town of Aguas Calientes and attempt to get a ticket. There are only 1,000 tickets available, and we recommend arriving a day early and bringing extra money in case you need to spend the day in town.

When you arrive in Aguas Calientes, we suggest going directly to the Ministry of Culture, located near the main square. There, you will need to request a ticket with a number, and they will tell you when to return to the office. They will provide you with access to Machu Picchu circuits based on availability and date.
